The CP-Prep Community Paramedic Certification Preparation Program combines comprehensive online learning with focused, instructor-led exam preparation.
Taught by Community Paramedics for Community Paramedics.
The program is completed in two parts:
Part 1: Online Pre-Work
Students begin with approximately 16 hours of self-paced online learning. This foundational coursework covers essential community paramedicine concepts, including population health, social determinants of health, chronic disease management, patient navigation, interdisciplinary collaboration, program operations, quality improvement, and clinical decision-making.
The pre-work includes practical examples, scenario-based learning, knowledge checks, and application exercises designed to build a strong foundation before the live bootcamp.
Part 2: Live Certification Prep Bootcamp
After completing the online pre-work, students attend a four-hour, instructor-led bootcamp. The live session reinforces major concepts, reviews high-priority certification topics, applies knowledge through case-based discussion, and helps students identify areas requiring additional study.
